Although our main thrust has always been FM/DN 1/24..and keen interest
in those that are LIMITED EDITIONS. The world of 1/43 intrigues many of
us (myself included), especially when it comes to the expensive, jewel-like handbuilts from MOTOR CITY USA. I will confess I own more than 20 of these and am absolutely fascinated with their quality, fidelity, choices of vibrant(and APPROPRIATE) color, minute detail, and flawless craftsmanship. All wrapped up in very, very limited editions.
Here is the first major alteration to the masterwork of the '53 Lowey Coupe. Every detail of this beautiful coupe is exquisitely replicated in 1/43. All of the chrome is either cast chrome or foiled and shined to a brilliance that challenges most showcars...Nothing is out of place...no detail is overlooked...all the subtle curves and nuances of the original car are to be found in this model, faithfully reproduced. Every detail...all the emblems, all the insignia, the seat patterns, the lights, mirrors, and even the windshield wipers are minutely detailed to perfection.
And then, there is ....color!!! The Stude is available in Coral over Charcoal over Coral (shown), Lime Metallic over Lemon Metallic over Lime Metallic, and Carnival Red over White over Carnival Red. The paint, like the rest of the car, is authentic, beautifully executed and fascinating. I love this car!! (07/26/1998)
