I don't know how they can do this. Sun Star's new Horch 855 Roasdster is not a low end model. This car has to cost more to make than they are asking for it. The car had immediate eye appeal looking at it in the box. Then, when you pick up the box, you notice how heavy it is. Unscrewing the Horch from the base took some time, and I was starting to get a little agitated. However, when I separated the two, I found out why the box was so heavy. The chassis is metal...METAL! NOT PLASTIC!

Double hinged hood, doors are hinged (no dog legs here) and the fit and finish are five star. The chrome and name plates are in the same league. The interior is very snappy and the attention to the seats is breath-taking. The imitation wood dash and side door mouldings are well done. The black spoke wheels with the ultra thin chrome rims are a real knock out. The rear foot rests are a very nice touch and are executed beautifully. The lighting system is first rate. The motor is good,(on par with middle nineties Franklin Mint) however, if it had wiring Sun Star could tag another $100 to the price and I don't think anybody would complain. The under-side of the car is interesting enough to briefly hold your attention.

One thing to note however, is that on the box it says it has an opening trunk. It does not open. They probably changed their minds at the last minute. Does this little over-site distract from this model? HECK NO! I LOVE THIS CAR....IT'S A SLEEPER KEEPER! FIVE BIG STARS!
