UT continues to make an excellent, well-finished model and the Z3 M Roadster is no exception. The paint is flawless and the BMW emblems are very crisply tampo-painted and correctly scaled. The interior is done in red and black and the instrumentation is very good. When you raise the hood, the six-cylinder engine lets you know immediately that this is not the normal Z3. There is no engine wiring but the brake master cylinder, coolant overflow tank and other under-hood features are well done. The vertical grill bars are separated and the screen on the lower grill intake is real and not just cast in plastic. The wheels show the brake rotors but it would have added a lot to the car if it also had the brake calipers like UT's Porsche 911. UT continues to deliver real value for the money and you will enjoy having this car in your collection. (04/18/2000)
