In 1969, Peter Fonda got tired of the "Barbarella" flicks and took $50,000 to film a movie that would become a CLASSIC. It was "Easy Rider", and premiered such greats as Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper. But the REAL Star of this movie was Fonda's Custom Harley, called "Captain America"... The Franklin Mint diecast of the same bike captures all of the detail you expect. From the fully wired handle brakes & throttle to the delicate shift linkage on the foot pedal, it's all there! The BIG V-twin engine has correct wiring and springs to control this roadster. It's ALL there just as on a 1:1 bike. Did I forget to mention the front Extended forks? (The front "pumper" shocks actually work)!! This diecast doesn't say "Harley-Davidson" on it anywhere, but it does say "COOL". Yo, if ya got it, then get this one. It's 5 stars in my book. The issue price is $135. (11/07/1998) (11/07/1998) |
