When first built, this Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost body roadster with bodywork by Schebera-Schapiro of Berlin became an instant classic. FM continues that class act with this 1:24 real wood and aluminum reproduction. The wood lamination effect on the body work is excellent. The green paint with black pinstriping is absolutely correct and beautifully applied to the fenders and hood areas. The
long gold snake horn on the rider's side adds a touch of the class and extravagance of the era. With the open top, it is easy to view all the dash instrumentation and gauges and levers needed to run this outstanding automobile. Another nice feature on this model is the ability to fully view all the great motor detailing.
Because of the use of actual wood on this model, there is
probably some minor sacrifice of detail in the door fit and upper dash detail, but it is the reviewers opinion that is minor and well worth the slight loss in favor of maintaining the real spirit of this great classic. The simulated rear seat canvas cover is not the best in appearance. Many would probably display the model with it removed. Overall, this is a superb and unique addition to your collection and deserves
prime viewing position.
