TO BE DISCONTINUED 12/31/02. The big question that our members are asking is, "Is the reissued ’57 Skyliner just a different color scheme?" The answer is "No." The FM design staff has taken this opportunity to make some changes in the fidelity of the car as well as the color. The first amendments are obviously the new colors, Black and White. The car has a correction in the two-tone rear deck area and the interior color layout. Changes in the amazingly accurate operating roof include the ability to pose the deck lid in the open position and the rear deck "flipper" panel has had its design corrected. Finally, the headliner has been painted white instead of left as a chrome item. The issue price is $120. (06/29/1998) |
