This is
a new
version
of
FM's
very
first
replica,
issued
back
in
1983.
The Design Staff, in addition to a color change to BLUE, has
added etched metal wheels, improved the body fittings, improved
the body trim by the use of tampo printing instead of foil, the
interior is painted instead of molded plastic, and the hood ornament
and grille are now etched metal. We also understand that when
current stocks of the RED model are depleted, that version will be
switched to this new format also. We are told that it is now
available at your Franklin Mint stores. The part number is B11 XM
