AUTOart has resumed limited production of the Lotus Cortina MK 1 -- which sold out four years ago. Long sold out, this model became an especially coveted target on ebay.
Ok, so being sold out isn't like "EXILE." But the 1:18 model is finally available again directly from Legacy Motors.
The Lotus-Cortina MK 1: best of Ford and the best of Colin Chapman's Lotus. Mechanicals and cosmetics by Lotus, engine by Lotus based on Ford engine, body by Ford. For a couple of years, it won every race in sight and numerous championships. Piloted by F1 legend Jimmy Clark, it took the 1964 British Touring Car Championship.
