Fewer than 3,000 Lotus Cortinas (or Lotus Type 28) were built. The Lotus factory racecars were driven by legendary drivers Graham Hill and Jim Clark (both won two Formula One titles) and Jacky Ickx, who won the 24 Hours of Le Mans six times.
It is Jim Clark, though, who is best remembered for his rally victories in the Lotus Cortina MK I a replica of which AUTOart has just sent. For years, this model was out of production; but it has returned from exile!
And for the first six purchasers, a special free gift. Thanks to Bill Bennett, purchase this model from Legacy Motors and we'll send you Bill's transferable set of decals that will let you customize this model to the Cortina Jim drove. No additional cost, while supplies last. Bill supplies easy to follow instructions!
