05/01/2012: HORSEPOWER FOR STAGECOACH, BLACK FOR GT BY CITROEN, *IMAX* IN SPARK RACERS

It was just a few weeks ago that I announced we had received Franklin Mint's authentically crafted 1868 Wells Fargo Stagecoach. I pointed out that this was First Class travel for its time and lots of collectors took advantage of this out of the blue production run.

For those of you who wanted only the chassis if they could get the engine... out of the inscrutable factories of Asia comes galloping the matching 4-Horse Team & Display Base.

So if the way the American West was won is your thing... time to pony up.

The coolest model I've seen in years is the GT by Citroen from Norev. You're lucky to have the original white one. Just in is the black version. Wow! Really WOW!

Stupendous delivery from Spark! The big headliner is the Lotus 25 1963 F1 World Championship car driven by Jim Clark. We reserved plenty of this 1:18 replica, but Spark shorted their exclusive US distributor and so there is rationing.

Also in 1:18 is the Gulf liveried Mirage GR8 #11 that won the 1975 Le Mans with Ickx and Bell. Grab some history now.

In 1:43, Spark has sent us their Ford GT40 Mk 1 that won the 1968 Le Mans for privateer John Wyer. Also, the 1959 Impala coupe in a riveting blue that blasts this car like you're watching an IMAX movie.

Truescale Miniatures has sent us their 1:43 McLaren F1 GTR that won the 1995 Le Mans. It's a bit less expensive than the HPI Racing version of the same world class car.
