The 1:18 Hot Wheels Elite version of the Ferrari 458 Italia sold out in 2009 before we could even pallet jack them into inventory.
Now we have the Elite version of its racing counterpart: Ferrari 458 Italia GT2. It's the Ferrari 458 set to *STUN* level. It's got flares and spoilers, scalloped vents in front and a high-mounted wing in the rear worthy of a prancing horse.
The Ferrari 458 GT2 won its category in this year's Le Mans. This model is the Launch version.
Elite models are indeed getting more elite. This one comes in a styrofoam clamshell, like Minichamps, Kyosho and the Mints. The boot lid and rear engine cover are removable and clasp back into the car with hidden neodymium magnets. Inventive use of materials simulate hoses and other textural components.
Detail abounds in and out at a level rarely seen at this price nowadays. Click on Ferrari 458 Italia GT2.
Just in from Minichamps is the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster. Proportions are perfect: long in front, short in rear, wide track, short overhangs. Underneath all that glamor is futuristic state of the art technology, engineered by German engineers who dream of little else.
We're very excited to get two 2010 GULLWINGs: the 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in an exquisite desert gold color and the 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in bright yellow. Choose between a color painted from a sunset or the brilliance of sunlight.
More Gullwing delivery: we just now restocked the 1954 Mercedes-Benz 300SL: grey with a vivid red interior.
