We found out today that CMC is exiting the display case business *indefinitely*.
We found out the hard way, when we sought to replenish the special cases they had buit for their Fiat Race-Car Transporters. The Team Maserati transporter can still be purchased at Legacy Motors, but the special display case, not so. We sold out of the special display case, and CMC is not importing more. Curses!
Legacy Display Cases still has some inventory of two CMC display cases: for display of single 1:18 model and for display of two 1:18 models (or *3* 1:24, or some 1:12 models).
Both are acrylic cases resting on a polished wood base with velvet bottom. Legacy Motors scrutinizes the wood bases for knicks or major imperfections. Act soon if you want these.
We have alternatives, click on Scale Model Cars. NCaseIt makes acrylic cases with a range of bases (none wood) and our glass cases come with a hefty wooden base.
Legacy Display Cases is still the Place for Display Cases. We're focused on practical showmanship to display our collectors' models.
