Cool. I'm probably about the same distance from the Mecum-Indy event. I'll go someday.
I was watching most of it on NBCSN. To nit-pick, the Bullitt sold for $3.74 million.
I'd heard several times 'in the past' that there were '2' '68 Bullit cars... the regular, 'chase' car and a 'camera' car. Don't know which one just sold.

And... by comparison... '1' on the '67 Eleanor movie cars also sold at Mecum this past weekend.... $775,000.
They said that '11' (eleven) '67s were built for the movie and only '7' exist today. A couple of the documented movie '67s had sold for over $1 million.

I love that '67 Eleanor... and I'm a GM-guy.
I do have a 1:18 Eleanor.... couldn't wait for the 1:24 version.
