Besides, sometimes people trade on illness, real or imagined to seek
an advantage for themselves. Too cynical? Well, maybe, but using the misfortune of either yourself or a third party in a business deal is just plain wrong.

I have spent the last six years first being treated for and then recovering from the nessesary surgery to remove a tumor that was colon cancer. In all the sales I have made and purchases on ebay, I have never reduced myself to making my health part of the sale and description. Any body's state of health is not germain to the process and holds the buyer hostage, kind of unessesery emotional blackmail.

Kind and right thinking people will always take a person's stated plight into consideration when conducting what should really be just business, if the other party makes this a point.
This is not for me to judge, but I do believe that in the circumstances, Phil, you acted with dignity and respect. And that is all any of us can do.
