How common in 1936 was silver paint anyway. Although I do enjoy having this
model in my collection the model was bought for what it is, but would have been more attractive if produced in an authentic Hudson body color for 1936.

As a side note, it's been an occasional perplexity when I think about the authenticity of body colors both Mints sometimes seemed to choose for their models. Often, a first release is bettered by a more attractive color of the subsequient release of the same model as a limited edition.
