Ebay have now become far more buyer focused than they once were.
Now a seller can no longer leave neg feedback on a buyer. Previously, seller feedback could be retaliatory- weaponized.
Non-paying bidders now receive strikes - three and you're out.
As a seller, I have very few non-payers or problems like charge backs, I figure that I am lucky. As a buyer; not quite so lucky. Items received damaged due to poor packaging or missing parts, or pre-existing damaged not revealed in the original item description. In all cases, ebay's buyer protection has kicked in and the matter resolved.I cherish my 100% positive feedback and do whatever it takes to maintain that whether as a buyer or a seller. I believe that most ebay members do maintain acceptable standards, but even in heaven, the occasional ratbag does manage to creep in, but are quickly dealt with.
