THAT really put it into perspective Chav, thanks! It’s essentially a supply and demand thing but...
You went a step further and brought to light that while it may have been rare at some point because more collectors wanted it then were available copies, the flip side has now happened with said model. Less WANT IT (that in itself could be for many reasons) AND the physical amount of those whom once collected have since passed away without enough new comers to INCREASE the demand again. Youíre left with enough models to go around or far less competition at any rate to drive up the prices! Unless finances or Iíll health become a deciding factor, I intend on keeping my cars till I pass away or know Iím on my way out at which time I might start giving them away, selling them, donating the proceeds to charity or a Mueseum etc.. I know one thing i CANT take them with me. I have joked in the past that I wanted to be buried in my Mark lll but thatís not legal so .... thanks to Automodello I CAN take it with me! I want my black one with me when they close the box ! Lol On a more cheery note Iím in great health and will be 54 on the 29th so I should be around at least 25-30 more years! Lots of enjoyment to come from models, 1:1s and other pleasures in life!!
