Dear to the hearts of Frenchmen, this is FM's replica of an early Citroen 2CV. They did a really bang up job on this replica and it was only $75 when released. Perhaps it was priced pro rated by weight.

Those of you fortunate enough to own this little gem may have wondered why your diecast does not look like the version pictured on the COA, or even the one pictured in Jay Engel's review. There were many changes made during production by Citroen and I assume by model vendors that resulted in a few possible variants. There are two grill types, a seven vaned photoetched grill and a 17 vaned molded plastic version. Mud flaps for the front wheels may be rubber, hard plastic or absent entirely. There is different seat material and/or paint texture. The door interior may be covered with adhesive backed flocked paper or be flock painted. Different textured material for the roof as well as different engine finishes (at least three) complete the list of possibilities. You'll want to collect the entire set.... if anyone knows just how many different combinations of variations actually exist. (ask Raffi)
