Pix: Kubiak Texaco. I have slowly progressed with my Texaco project. I have finished the painting
which came out very good except for the striping. The blue masking tape I use bled through and the stripes are not crisp. I tried to hand touch up but this proved to be unsatisfactory as well. I found some white stripping tape in my parts inventory which I tried after taking these pictures. It works great and I can also use it to help straighten out the warpage. I also found some clear plexiglass that I can use for the windows. The rustoleum textured paint works great for the road work once I figured out how to spray it. I need to get another can to finish it off. I love the old Texaco stations for some reason. I will keep you posted on the progress.
