I find an Image of an emblem on the internet that has a white background and save it. Then I resize
it and print it on decal paper using my cheap inkjet printer. Since there is no white or silver toner, a chrome emblem prints in gray tones. After printing, you spray the sheet with a decal bonder that captures the image when soaked in water. The decal has to be cut out before soaking. This method works fairly well for light colored cars, but not so well on dark ones. John Shamblin could probably give a better tutorial. His decals are very professional looking. Here’s the stuff I use and decals I’ve made.
