(PICS) Danbury's '58 Impala sport coupe
This fairly early DM diecast (2002) admittedly has a few shortcomings: a bit of droop on the upper rear fender trim, an overly bulky rocker-panel molding, and a really deep spare tire cavity that hangs down visibly in some outside views. The model was done during the 'dog-leg' door hinge era.
But, all that said, it's still an attractive model that I enjoy looking at often.
I've removed the supplied fender-skirts and taken the liberty of thinning the overly bulky rocker-panel moldings on mine and replacing the plastic rear mounted antennae with plated metal straight pins
