Well....
looks like you're 100% correct. I never owned a 1957 Chrysler (did own a '57 Dodge) but ALWAYS saw that area below the headlights as "amber."

NOW.... on "HD CLOSE INSPECTION" I see that those 2 areas are actually grills for ?? (air vents? a design feature?) and they seem to be "redish" in color.

Parking lights are, as you noted, in the bumper. It's unbelievable to me that I've been admiring these cars for 30+ years and never noticed this.

Perhaps a 1957 Chrysler 300C expert could chime in and explain further.
