PICS: Brooklin Diaries for Nov 30
Taken direct from the website.

Here in Brooklin Models Christmas time is coming, and Neil couldn’t wait until Monday to plug in the holidays lights.

Our gift to you will be ready by the holy night: for example this week we were working on the Airstream Wanderers and the DeSoto4-door Sedan (BML29), and on a surprise too, the December mystery…

Take a look on the new chapter of our Brooklin Diaries!

FETTLING – TIM
These Airstream Wanderers have been prepared for painting.
We have sold SO many of these that we estimate that almost everyone reading this has one in their collection.

PATTERN MAKING – SARAH
With Darren and Mr P both working on some unannounced projects, Sarah is doing all of the work on our cars. She is adding some strengthening plates to the inside of the baseplate.

BODY CASTING – ANDY B
These Riva Aquaramas are selling like hotcakes.
These are what the hulls look like straight from the mould.
(Disclaimer: We haven’t actually studied the sale of hotcakes for this comparison)

SMALL PARTS CASTING – MARK R
Tunes on, glasses on, game on.

SMALL PARTS CASTING – MARK R
These 1952 Cadillac roof pieces will have a high gloss paint finish so this sanding needs to be done carefully.

FETTLING – RICH
This is the BML29, a 1942 DeSoto 4-door Sedan. A lot more work to get it ready for your display shelves.

FETTING – TIM
Here you can see a before and after shot.
Well, in this photo it is actually after and before.

SMALL PARTS CASTING – JIM
Every car needs one of these mounting plates for the packaging.
These get sprayed black. Even though they are on the underside of the display base we still make sure that they are perfect and look good.

THERE IS ALWAYS ONE…
Neil couldn’t wait until Monday so he has plugged these lights in ‘just to test that they work’… they are still switched on 16hrs later.

FESTIVITIES
Here at Brooklin Models we love Christmas and we have already got the decorations out of storage. A small tear in the sack means that our balls are hanging out. They are undamaged.
