Too bad Exner didn't get his way; this would have sold very well IMO; better
looking than the Vette and equal (or better?) than the T-Bird. Also, I try to visualize what a larger one of these would have looked like as a full size Dodge, Plymouth or Chrysler in the various body styles. I think it could have been a stunner and very successful; especially if introduced in 1957 then tweaked a bit for a few model years. In fact, its styling is modern enough that they maybe could have done this starting in 1960 or 61; instead of the unpopular ones they produced. What might have been.
