Frank, I have been accumulating automobile memorabilia since I was around 8 years old. I have paint chips, sales brochures, and just plain knowledge gained over a long period of time. There is a lot of information on the internet. Pontiac was a great brand. Starting in 1950, they had special colors for the Custom Catalina hardtops. This spread across the Star Chief series in 1954, and continued on to 1958. These colors made the Star Chief something special. Our 1957 Custom Star Chief was Cordoba Red and Kenya Ivory. I loved that car, and admire it to this day. Richard Nosker is correct, Easter Sunday 1957. I was very enthused to obtain the Brooklin 1957 Safari station wagon. A super model, very well done.
