Is anyone familiar with the 1941 Chrysler Newport dual cowl
phaeton? Matrix is currently offering this car in yellow and also light metallic beige. Was the real 1:1 car repainted or built in production of more than a few cars? I remember seeing it as an Indianapolis Pace Car in their museum some years ago. Like 50 years ago. Does anyone here know the scoop about this car? Was it many colors? How many were built? Thanks.
