I really like the yellow on the original Bird. I love the 55 & 57. I must
say that I really dislike the look of the last retro effort by Ford. There were several reasons. The nose treatment is very ugly, looks nothing like the original; especially around the headlights/fender points, the finish quality of the "retro" grille, its surround and all trim is insufficient and cheap looking. The tail lights desperately need some kind of "chrome" trim surround as they too look bland. Lastly...the price! I couldn't believe how much these things were listed for when they came out. I think many others had similar (and likely many other) thoughts too, as the car was a big failure. Such a shame.
