Thanks for the good information and pictures, Renato. The Kaiser Carolina
initially interested me, but it hurts to see that this one still has the "Manhattan" insignia on the front fender. Would it be possible to remove that? The 1953-only Kaiser Carolina targeted the low end of the marketplace, Kaiser's take on getting price-competitive. Like its opposite (much higher end) the Dragon, it was Manhattan-based and a 1953-only model. The Carolina sold a little better than the Dragon, 1,812 units total. Clandestine bulletins were issued to dealers, edifying them on the Carolina's role--roping in showroom visitors, so they could be steered into higher-profit cars like the Manhattan.
