scale?
Hi,members I would just like to know why a lot of my models seem to be different scales when the are all 1/43rd. The pictures I am posting are all 1/43rd scale, however, when I look at them there seems to be a difference. The picture does.t show it as much as seeing them in person. The Jaguar Mark 9 is a funeral car that I built from a Provence Moulage kit. I think it should be a very large car. The beautiful Goldvarg Ford station wagon is bigger than the Jaguar but the Brooklin Ford is larger than both of those models. My question is do these manufacturers actually measure the real cars or guess from pictures of the cars? Sorry the pictures are not really sharp. I know that when I had my Highway Travelers line we found the real cars and measured them in person and Ian Pickering did his magic in making the masters. The one exception was the 1961 Plymouth, which we could not find. That was made from pictures and sales brochure plus many automotive magazines. Regards, Paul
