The availability of the 1:1 is very important. Look at the winners of top prizes
in the various shows and check the crowd/press reaction. Or, if that's just too hard, find a collector and ask his opinion, especially a collector with investment funding. But these methods can be put aside if the maker just has a favorite that he would like to see in scale. Whee!
