A textured vinyl look can be done by using a
Satin Black spray can, and spraying from 1 to 2 feet away. The paint partially dries before hitting the surface, and you get a textured look. You have to try it on an junker or test car before doing a good one, as finish depends on the brand of spray paint you are using, and the distance you are spraying from. Has worked for me in the past. And if you missed my post of last week, those white lettered tires are available on some of the Road Champs 1969 Camaros.

Yep, and this one might have benefitted from a black vinyl top. by Rick Thompson #25480.
I think it would look much better with a black "vinyl" roof. (EOM) by Jack Dodds #25480.
Pics: Again, like this? by David Knight #25480.
Yes...much better...and of course the white letter tires are perfect. (EOM) by Jack Dodds #25480.
Rick and Jack I agree with both of you. My 69 GS had a vinyl top. (EOM) by Bob Jackman #25480.
It seems like its difficult to do the vinyl roof look justice in 1:43. (EOM) by Jack Dodds #25480.
Would not a satin finish fit the bill? Neither matt, nor gloss. (EOM) by Mike Coupe #25480.
