A slight revision to my Auto World '85 Buick Grand National (pics)
Back in 2014 I bought the Auto World resin model of the '85 Buick Grand National. For an all-black car, it had a lot of nice detail, including the GN emblems on the sides. Perhaps more impressive than other late-model replicas in 1:43, The seat belts appear to be hung separately, not cast in with the seats, and the latch even has the red-orange release buttons picked out. Even the rear seats have p/e buckles. I posted these back in the day:

Recently our friend Brad Gorman offered to get mine personalized. I sent it to him, and he got the car's designer, Steve Pasteiner, to sign the base. Steve was the GM Assistant Chief Designer for the Buick and Chevy 1 studio from the years 1966-1989. Besides the GN and various showcars, he was responsible for the '79 Riviera and the '83 Commemorative Edition 'Vettes.
