Hey John.... I owned a nice 1974 Econoline 'Supervan'....
It had everything...it was a panelvan, no side windows, hipo 302 bored and stroked (don't know the final cubes after engine work) with an oversized cam, special heads, headers... wide tires on all 4 corners, it was an 8 lugnut one ton with a sliding side door, nice paintjob... baby blue with a Starsky and Hutch style dark blue stripe down both sides.
I would race and beat most Vettes, Irocs and Trans Ams of the day (80's)... I would love to have another just like the one I had.
I have 3 of these 1/43 models and have been wanting to do the panel conversion.... can you tell me how you did yours?
Here is a 1/24 Street Whipz that I put on a 1320 drag chassis... The wheelbase on the van was a perfect fit on the chassis... My next project for this model is to paint it the same as my 1:1.
