Filling in the windows
In this project I used a section of very thin metal glued to the window area. This metal, from my stock of stuff, is something used in the printing industry I believe. It was given to me long ago. Someone will know what it is called. In this case using this material is easier and quicker than filling the windows with J B Weld which would then take many applications and much much sanding and smoothing to get a perfect surface. Redoing your elaborate graphics is going to be the tricky part.
