Decal posts and JQ's excellent Fords got me thinking....
There are many hobby builders on this forum who have been playing around with little cars for a long time. My first efforts were in 1957 when my pal and I discovered a hacksaw in my Dad's shed and several innocent Dinky Toys were mutilated and painted with whatever we could find. No model has been safe since. What tools and other aids to modelling have made a big difference to your model building over the years? Back then I had nothing but that old hacksaw and various tins of paint. I'd be keen to see just what's helped you over the years.
