Collecting 1:43 cars for the late 30's - really! (pics)
Hubley Toys of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, started making toys in 1898. In the 1930's they became even more realistic with some of their little cars.

A little comparison:

The Hudson is harder for me to compare, for I don't have BRK's 1936 Hudson Terraplane convertible (yet). But here's an attempt, using a '36 and a '37:

FYI- The red Lincoln is a re-paint (not my work), and the yellow Hudon is original. I wouldn't swap either for the new BRK! Sometimes I think it's fun to look a little further. Enjoy!
