Brooklin Diaries for May 2
"Hello, dear collector! We are back after our Easter break and busy Its crazy here.
We are still working on a couple of hush-hush projects that we are very excited about and will hopefully reveal all soon.
Lets go!!!!PATTERN MAKING Mr P
Mr Pinker is cleaning up this grill for a Buick. There is a tiny undercut on this central bar which will cause problems during mould making. A little resin filler will sort this out.PATTERN MAKING SARAH
These are the headlights for the BML 30. Sarah has spent the morning polishing these to perfection.SMALL PARTS CASTING MARK R
Mark is also working on the BML 30, a 1938 Cadillac Imperial Sedan limo.
This is the partition between the passenger and the driver.BODY CASTING ANDY B
The ever-popular Tucker Torpedo is getting another new colour.
This really is one of the most iconic body shapes in history.PAINT ROOM TIM
A light dusting of primer is perfect for revealing any issues that need attention before the final colour coat.PLATING DAVE
Dave is concentrating on the paperwork for an order.
You can tell that he is concentrating because he looks in pain, there is a mechanical grinding noise and steam is coming out of his ears.PAINT ROOM BOB
These BRK 181 (1952 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe de Ville) still have wet primer so we wasnt allowed in the room to photograph them."
