Even though I was a high school senior in 1961 totally in love with
cars, I then after college and the Army, became an Oldsmobile salesman nine years later, I do not remember many 2 doors of either the 98 or 88s in my home town. As a 1961 model year. Plenty of four doors, converts, wagons and F-85s however. But it does look like you could land an airplane on that truck lid. And the winter snow would slide right off of it. Now the '62 model was a different story. Two door 98s and 88s all over the place. Really.
