If memory serves me, the 1946 and 47 limousines from Cadillac
did not share the newer bodies of the popular showroom Cadillac bodies with their updated teardrop fender styling, instead they carried on the pre-war bodies for series 75 cars. I believe that by the 1948 year all Cadillacs shared new sheetmetal.
