[PICS] The Spark alternative
Note to Randall - Ford launched this car with a flourish and it came back and hit them in the face, so maybe those tail lights on the wagon represent a boomerang?

Anyway, yes, I quite like the Minichamps and the proportions seem to be very accurate, but I don't know why they made it so deliberately under-scale.

I also wasn't too keen on the "bleached driftwood" look of their side trim, although I know that seems to have been a factory option on the 1:1. A dark wood trim was also available.

The Spark version has a "stronger" look to it and I prefer the bolder side trim. Unfortunately the roof is noticeably too tall. It isn't terrible but it does show up particularly badly in the depth of the windshield/windscreen.

The difference in scale (and screen depth relative to width) really shows up here ...

Spark also did a Citation sedan and convertible and although I think the sedan is a pretty model they all share the same problem of slightly exaggerated roof height.
