I guess it's a bit like the Kess New Yorker (#26184).
Either you can overlook the problem and appreciate the rest, or you can't. I can half-close my eyes and convince myself the Spark Edsel looks just about OK, but the Kess is just too wrong for me.

I suspect that in both cases if you put the model on a low shelf so it is always viewed from a high angle, the perspective makes the roof issue pretty much disappear!
