That is an advanced Italian lubrication technique! Oil drips out the
bottom so you never have to change it...you just top it off weekly and you've always got fresh oil in the pan. And as it drips out while you're driving, the oil in the airstream lubes the suspension, chassis components, and exhaust system which prevents them from rusting. See? Actually, the British invented this system and perfected it with MGs (trust me, I've had six of them) but the Italians adopted it for their Fiat sports cars.

NOTE: This is satire, and no offense to any nationality or nation's sports cars is intended!
