Learned gentlemen of the Forum: Recently I rescued a spent MM Packard (pic) and now am proceeding

in the process of revival (not to be confused with restoration). But a seemingly simple problem has arisen. Those whitewalls just don't want to become white. They are off the car, and the white walls are now separated from the black tires. Would someone suggest a method?

A mild abrasive rubbed with a paper towel on the yellowed rubber. by Richard Nosker #26483.3
