Kit time: Building Heller's Rover 3500 (pics)

When I opened this box several days ago, I had a nice surprise: the car body was already painted. Several months ago, I bought a small box of Heller models, and two of the Rover 3500 were duplicates; one had been opened, as was mentioned in the description. That's the one that had been painted, and I appreciate it.
Heller kits are plastic and made in France. This one seems to date to about 1990.

I checked information on the 1:1, for being a provincial, I am not familiar with this one. The Rover 3500, 1976, was designed by David Bache as the SD1 Rover. It became the first new product of British Leyland's reorganized structure, by the Specialist Division (Jaguar, Rover, Triumph). It was also the last entirely British Rover (though it used the 3.5 litre alloy V8 originally designed by Buick). This Rover won the 1977 European Car of the Year title.

So I built it.

The other 3500 is still in the box, outer celephane unbroken, but I think I'm ready for a different model. Enjoy!
