Are we sure about optional wire wheels?
Thanks for pointing out all of the detail differences. The open wheel wells on the quarter panel make such a difference.

I know many Eldorado models wear wire wheels now, but I don’t believe they were available from Cadillac when the cars were new. GM loved show cars and concepts with real wire wheels. My recollection is that actual wire wheels, not wire hubcaps, became available right about 1980 with the reskin of the new C-bodies from 1977.
