Hi David ;) Wire wheels have officially appeared on
2 brochures, the 1953 Cadillac Salesmen Data book and the 1953 Cadillac Eldorado Folder.

The wire wheels were standard equipment on Eldorados in 1953. Never seen any 53 Eldo with regular "discs" hubcaps by the way.

For the 1964 Eldorado, the car is officially presented by Cadillac with "Turbine" hubcaps, but it's true that so many 64s now are dressed with wire wheels.

I personally prefer the 64 Eldo without wire ones. ;)
