(PICS) This time, a few resin BUICKS from a while ago.....
This group of resin 1/43 Buicks were available from the following manufacturers: The two red and black 57 Buicks (Caballero and Roadmaster convertible) were from NEO, the red and white 1954 Century coupe was from TSM, the 1965 Sport Wagon was from MATRIX, the black 1965 Riviera was from SPARK, the pale metallic green 74 Le Saber HT Coupe was by Neo, the burgundy 69 Riviera by NEO, and the 1958 laurel mist Century Caballero was also by NEO.

I modified a few of these for accuracy: the two red and black 57 Buicks receiving slightly deeper outer rims for the Skylark wire wheels, the red/white 54 Buick received red paint below the side-trim (it originally had incorrect white below the trim), and the black 65 Riviera had the upper side-window gutter-rail trim lowered from the original incorrect too tall position.

Buicks by Alan Dinsmore #26847.1
Portholes? by Stanton Lyman #26847.1.1
My first impulse was to agree with Stanton. Then I checked old ads. (pics) by David Holcombe #26847.1.1.1
According to a Google search, they still used three in '54. They must have waited until '55 (EOM) by Clifford Read #26847.1.1.2
Stanton, being first of all a Buick collector, I can confirm you are mistaken by Alex Taylor #26847.1.1.3
Very nice display. The '57 & '54 are my faves. (EOM) by Jack Dodds #26847.2
Clifford, I admire your photography and your skill in correcting these issues. Please by Randall Olson #26847.3
I also thought the trim on the Spark Riviera was a goof. But then I squinted by Mark Lampariello #26847.4
I've tried to bring the gutter rail to its rightful location. See pics below.... by Clifford Read #26847.4.1
How did you do it? (EOM) by Harvey Goranson #26847.4.1.1
I carefully filed off the original gutter detail and painted the filed area black..... by Clifford Read #26847.
Clifford, that's some damn good work you did to correct that flaw. (EOM) by Steve Jakubczak #26847.
I agree. Clifford, your work is really impressive. Well done! (EOM) by David Holcombe #26847.
Here's NEO's '57 Roadmaster Hardtop Coupe (PIC) by Barry Levittan #26847.5
Only the Special and Century Buicks had the three piece windows. (EOM) by Bob Jackman #26847.5.1
I respectfully disagree, Bob - the Model 76R hardtop coupe had a divided rear window. by Barry Levittan #26847.5.1.1
I always thought what Bob thinks. But, much to my surprise, here's a pic. by John Kuvakas #26847.
Note the scallops ahead of the rear wheels on that 76R. NEO's is the 75 which has Roadmaster script. by Barry Levittan #26847.
I'm waiting for a 43rd version of the 8th generation Riviera 1995-1999 by John Quilter #26847.6
