Thanks, Bob and John. I don't have the '48 brochure (I checked) so
I couldn't answer my question. I do recall that most of the vinyl tops of the late '40s were black, regardless of body color, which is why the tops on the Goldvargs threw me. As I said, my CON Parma Wine model has a black top, as did the green original model as well.

Perhaps if Sergio sees this thread, he can answer the question definitively based on his research of the woody.
