Do you want the good news or the bad news first?
Kess have issued a 1960 Imperial Le Baron in two colours, black or light blue. The baseplate says production is limited to 150 but the Carmodel website says 250 of each colour.

Looks quite nice, and Imperial fans with deep pockets might want it to sit alongside the new GLM convertible.

And the bad news? Well, having been promised for release on 31 December 2019 for the past 7-8 months, the release date for the Kess 1960 De Soto has (not entirely unexpectedly) been quietly moved on to 31 January 2020. It still doesn't show up on their website as a new release or "coming soon", and the model shown here (which actually seems to be in stock and available) doesn't show on their website at all. In fact they don't seem to have updated their website for months and one could be excused for thinking the company has gone to the wall, so how they have managed to sneak the Imperial into production is just one more mystery in this long-running saga.

The delay is understandable. Perhaps they are reworking the '60 DeSoto to create this model. (EOM) by Randall Olson #27072.1

It looks interesting, could be one I'll need to see in person. (EOM) by John Merritt #27072.4
John, glad they're doing a 4dr. I have the Kess 57 Mercury SW turquoise/ivory and 63 Impala 4dr ht by Randall Olson #27072.4.1
Maybe it's the picture angle but the rear of the blue limo looks like it sits way too high. (EOM) by Mark Sweeney #27072.5
