Hi, Karl. Western typically put their "WM" logo on the baseplate ot their
models. The logo was embossed on a separate little square piece they attached to the base and painted the same colour (black) as the base. On models that they made for others such as Minimarque, I think they left off the logo. When they started this practice, I do not recall but can say that I have seen many of their models with these logos.

Why it is missing on this particularly common Plymouth is unclear to me. They had issued the 2dr sedan as a kit and perhaps this piece could have been left off at the discretion of the builder. I do not recall if Western offered the convertible as a kit, though. Those were pretty early days in the business when running changes were common so the absence of apart like a logo piece is not surprising to me.

Finally, I do not think they ever did this model for any other company. I have no record of one being done nor memory of one.
